Completion Certificate Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

All course participants who register for the course will be eligible to receive a completion certificate as long as they follow the following guidelines. Please read carefully before contacting us.

Checklist for getting a certificate:

I didn’t watch all of the lectures live, can I still get the certificate?

Yes. The slides and videos of all lectures are available on the site. You can catch up on all the ones you missed there.

I’m not sure I registered correctly to the course (wrong email, wrong name, or something else) what can I do?

Feel free to register again (before July 13th, 2025)

What if I have questions about the certificate?

Please make sure your questions are not covered in this FAQ nor in the closing presentation, given on Friday June 13th (slides / video). If not, email us at adomingu@pppl.gov. Due to high volume of emails, we will only respond regarding question not covered in the FAQ.

I believe I did all the steps correctly and I still haven’t received my certificate or communication from the organizers. What can I do?

If it is PAST August 13th and you still haven’t received your certificate (or an email from the organizers), email us at adomingu@pppl.gov. PLEASE WAIT UNTIL AUGUST 13th TO CONTACT US.

I didn’t get to complete my questionnaire by July 13th, can I still get the certificate?

Unfortunately, no. There will be no exceptions. Please consider registering for the 2026 course once it is announced.

Will this certificate help me get into graduate school, a fusion career, etc?

The certificate certifies that you participated in in the 2025 Intro to Plasma and Fusion course (either live or remotely). It is NOT a PPPL/Princeton U/DOE endorsement of your skillset nor should be seen as a PPPL/Princeton U/DOE recommendation. Nonetheless, we hope you keep it as personal proof that you have successfully completed a thorough 2-week-long course on MANY plasma/fusion topics.
